Update. The worry over Lantus is over for me. I tried Levemir for a couple of months, before switching back to Lantus as it made no difference to the pain. Then I had a diagnosis of polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) a few weeks ago. This was after several visits to my doctor and a rheumatologist, blood tests and a radiological bone scan. The doctor told me take aspirin once a day to help thin my blood. So besides the fact that it relieves headaches and pain, I have no side effects from this medication, and I dont know how effective it is because it thins my blood so I dont know much effect it has done.

just got put on 50mg but 1/2 a pill in the am and omg i only took this only once and already I know Im not continuing, I cant eat I have diarrhea and i vomited this is bad, I feel like I have the flue I cant function I guess it depends on the person who takes the med but I suggest not to!
