I use metofrmin in combination with glyburide, otherwise it won't work. Metformin for me cannot work alone. Right now, I can't take it because I don't have glyburide, so i use Diabenese instead.

Today my doctor told me to stop the Lipitor because my liver is "not happy". Since being on the drug, I have experienced lower cholesterol. BUT I have also had irregular heartbeat, weight gain especially abdominal, blood in my urine that the urologist can find no reason for, swollen hands and fingers, feet feel sore and hot but look normal, rashes on my arms, weakness in knees, and pain in my right side. Cipro made my typhoid fever go away quickly, which was a big relief because it was such an uncomfortable illness. Itchiness ensued as I was ending the medication, but that also could have been due to the fact that I had gotten scabies as well - (I was in Indonesia)...
