I suffer from Fibromyalgia and a variety of chronic joint and muscle pain. I cannot take anti-inflamatories because I take Coumadin (blood thinner). I was prescribed Percocet after major shoulder surgery and found it was the 'best' pain releif I'd ever gotten for my whole body. I am on a relatively low-dose for chronic pain and yes, I know this is physically addictive. However, quality of life is addictive as well!!!! Fluoxetine changed my personality dramatically. From being an overworriying, fearful, shy, caring guy to a agressive, irritable, not-caring one. I hate it soooo much this new person that fluoxetine has induced on me. Highly prrefer my anxiety than this. Also emotional flatness and loss of libido were severe. DON'T LET PEOPLE FOOL YOU, THIS DRUG IS POWERFUL AND CHANGE YOUR PERSONALITY.

This drug was supposed to raise my Hdl, I took it only 3 or 4 times as it really caused my blood sugar to spike. If you are diabetic I would not recommend this

after 3 A1c tests that were getting worse and taking more and more Lantus, I quit it totally because when I upped the dose my blood pressure went up as well. I had pain in both hands having gained 15 pounds as well. After one week of quitting, my weight went down 8 pounds and I no longer have pain in my hands. I will never take that stuff again. My sugars have been down significantly, staying between 90 and 100 in the mornings without it....

Agomelatine hasn't help my depression so far but will give it another month.I will probably go back to mianserin which has been effective in the past.
