To anybody who wrote in or is thinking of taking this medication Xyzal I would love to know if anybody else had very bad hallucinations. I wrote my experience on June 3rd and none of my doctors not even my phychiarist heard of this medication. I wonder if it's given out to alot of people. The first time I took this pill, it did exactly what it was supposed to do- my infection was gone in a matter of days. No stomach pain or indigestion. This time, it's been awful- I spend an entire night throwing up and suffering from diarrhea ... I had taken the pills along with some allergy herbs, had waited till 3hours had passed since dinner, but still woke up at 2 and was up the rest of hte night. I have been on this medication since March 2010. I am now on 125 mcg and feel fantastic. This drug has really helped me to lose weight, my beautiful thick hair to come back and I am no longer tired when waking and feel like I have slept.

I needed to take it for a colonoscopy I was having done. It tastes horrible even in my favorite Gatorade drink. But the most important thing is that it worked. I was completely clean for the colonoscopy.

You should try taking a non-drowsy allergy medication during the day, such as Claritin, Zyrtec or Allegra. Save the Benadryl for the night time, before you got to bed. You could also try a decongestant that contains pseudoephedrine...it works by constricting the inflamed blood vessels in your nasal passages that is causing the congestion. Good luck.

Zantac was first prescribed by doctor when two medicines that should not have been taken together were prescribed. After that it was prescribed for acid reflux.
