It helped with my infection a little, but I didn't feel like it completely cleared it up both times I used it. It also made me extremely nauseous, but I did not eat much with it.

To anybody who wrote in or is thinking of taking this medication Xyzal I would love to know if anybody else had very bad hallucinations. I wrote my experience on June 3rd and none of my doctors not even my phychiarist heard of this medication. I wonder if it's given out to alot of people. I have had normal blood pressure, top number in the 120's-130's, bottom # in the 70's, all of my life, and now that I have been on Yaz for a year my numbers have absolutely skyrocketed. Now I'm getting readings anywhere from the 140's over 80's all the way up to the 190's over 90's! Nothing else has changed, no weight gain, no other drugs or medical condition that could explain the sudden rise. My daughter has been diagnosed with Juveniele Idiopathic Arthtritis which has caused inflammation in her wrists, knees, ankles, lining of the lungs/chest cavity, and the spine. She also has been diagnosed with Raynaud's. It is very difficult watching a child who was very active (soccer player, runner) spend weeks not being able to walk due to inflammation or having pain while breathing. Two things I noticed that in my mind were directly linked to the medication: My breast cysts began to shrink so fast I could feel them doing so, and I had excruciating leg pain, especially upon going to bed at night. I had to stop taking it. Leg pains went away.
