Other birth control pills made me extremely nauseated and dizzy. Also, they made my acne become cystic. Yaz, has almost cleared my acne. I do have leg cramps almost every time during the third week of my pills and never had this before I started taking it. I have been on Yaz for almost two years now and I would not switch for anything.

During the winter my hair tends to fall out while im taking this medication. I have been taking this medication since I was born and I have seen good results according to my bloodwork. I get my bloodwork done every 6 months and the only part I don't like is when they take my blood. Other than that I am very satisfied with this medication because the last time I went to the doctor's I gained 5-6 pounds !!! I was very happy about this !

One study found that it lowered the risk of heart disease by about 40 percent. However, you do need to talk to your doctor as it can react with some meds.

Cymbalta certainly does the job. Have had very little side effects from it at all. I am taking it to control my panic attacks. I did go through a period where my doctors office switched doctors and I couldn't get my perscription refilled for almost 5 days until they got it together. I was fine the first two days but the third through fifth day I was having dizzy spells and anxiety attacks from not taking it. I had a relatively mild case of acid reflux and heartburn and prilosec helped with the discomfort and eventually eliminated the problem completely

I was on Junel for a 2 or 3 years. I absolutely loved it. I went through a year and a half of hit and misses with many different types of birth controls. I did not gain weight, I actually lost a lot of weight and maintained a great weight or have depression.
