I had to take it after stroke to prevent blood clots. It makes my skin thin too. For example, if I scratch my skin, it bleeds excesively.

YES i AM 52 YEAR OLD FEMALE BEEN ON MED FOR 6 MONTHS HAVE NUMBNSS IN THIGHS AND WHEN STANDING LONGER PERIODS. ASKED Y DOCTOR OFFICE SHOULD I STOP TAKING MED SAID IT IS NOT FROM MEDICATION KEEP TAKING . I FEEL THIS IS ASIDE AFFECTED NOT NOTED. I WILL TRY DIFFERENT MED.

I was taking Vitamin D3 and I stopped taking to make my own observations. I find that when I take vitamin D3 four hours later, still BP is higher. Don't know if it's a coincidence but evaluating.

I thought it was the heat dehydrating me, humid weather causing arthritis flare-ups, menopause symptoms coming back, all at once. And maybe even something wrong with my thyroid medicine (a bad batch or needing a dosage increase) But symptom got worse when we went away from the heat on vacation.Towards end of our vacation my husband insisted I stop taking it and I immediately began to feel better. I've been on sandomigran for at least 3 years now. I recently went up to 3 per day but it's not working. It worked really well for ages but no longer and the side effects are getting harder to tolerate. I find they have incresased on the higher dose so I am going back to the neurologist to see if there is an alternative. I've tried lots of other meds though. Hopefully there is something out there that can help.
