This was the worst medicine I ever took. It gave me a terrible skin rash that sent me to the hospital and did nothing for my illness during finals no less!

Ortho-tricyclen has prevented pregnancy. However, part of the reason I started taking it was to clear up acne and regulate my menstrual cycle. I still have mild acne, and I still have slightly irregular periods.

Cymbalta has done wonders for my fibromyalgia. Lyrica and Savella made me so sick I was throwing up! They did nothing for my pain either. Not Cymbalta, though. It has made me virtually pain free! It has also helped balance out my bipolar II symptoms; especially the depression. Another added benefit included fewer and much milder PMS symptoms. Cymbalta is definitely the drug of choice for me...and no side effects!

I am not convinced that the Remicade was the cause of my getting the mersa infectious cyst inside my Larynx and there is no proof that it is connected in why I suddenly had Liver Cancer. Both have been treated and (kidney removed) and I would really like to go back on the Remicade, but my doctors say NO. My latest issue is now Pancreatitis (I have been off of the Remicade for 1 year and 3 months. So I don't think it relates to it either.

I am not a moody or depressed person, but since taking this specific birth control I have been having the worst mood swings ranging from being being easily irritated to sad/depressed for no known reason. I have also been experiencing an unusual amount of acne breakouts and irregular periods. I used to have a clockwork 28 day cycle, now my period will be MIA for 30 days at a time, every 2-3 months. When I began to use cymbalta I noticed dizziness, rapid heartbeat, increased bloodpressure, however fibro pain seemed quite improved as well as energy. Difficult to sleep. I deal with long term chronic pain (1980) fibro diagnosis, arthritis, lymphedema & lipidema. I wanted to "believe". Became Zombie like. Memory loss severe as well as cognitive abilities. I find it is extremely slow in taking effect and eventually the result aren't as good as they once were requiring 2 tablets instead of one wich i try to avoid.
