Unfortunately, I have only recently started to recearch this medication and it's side effects. At first I thought effxor xr was the best thing that ever happened to me, but after taking it for 2 plus years I wish it was never prescribed to me. Everyone is different, I know, but so many people, me included, experience terrible side effects from missing ONE dose. My doctor told me that I am experiencing withdrawal symptoms. lutera (28) CAUSE A SERIOUS ADERSE EVENT IN MY WIFE THAT . SHE A BLOOD CLOT . AND THE OUTCOME WAS DEATH . LIKE TWO NO HAVE ANYONE ELSE HAVE ADVERSE EVENT LIKE THIS.

I have severe fatigue at times, but I don't know if that is caused by the Entocort. Probably the Crohn's is causing the fatigue. I -do- know Entocort really works well. I have tried decreasing or stopping several times over the last couple of years. Immediately I get softer/more stool that looks abnormal/mucus. Feel lousy, etc.

I like it becuase it helps with sleep (to aleviate anxiety to fall asleep)---but when I wake up I seem "foggy"---and have VERY BAD short term memory (in the a.m.---ie. forgetting If I feed the dogs---10minutes after feed them..so I have to leave reminders for myself to make sure I did these things.....

I use Aleve occasionally for general aches and pains. It is effective as a muscle relaxer, especially after running and excercising. I have never had a side effect from using Aleve.
