My daughter has been diagnosed with Juveniele Idiopathic Arthtritis which has caused inflammation in her wrists, knees, ankles, lining of the lungs/chest cavity, and the spine. I am 33 and my testosterone level was in the mid 300's. I was referred to a urologist and had my pituitary gland checked for a tumor and thankfully there wasn't one. Ortho Tri Cyclen lo was absolutely terrible for me, it exacerbated my depression exponentially. Several people commented how "out of it" I appeared and I felt confused all the time. I could not organize or accomplish routine tasks without trouble. I was feverish and incredibly emotional. I could not wait to quit this birth control.

I've been on Cryselle for four months...and it's horrible! I've had two uti's and think I have another now. I go to dr tomorrow to see. I've had vaginal itching, bloating, abdominal pain, acne, and headaches. I feel better on my period! As soon as I start a new pack, I immediately feel sick and usually develop a uti. By the time I start, I'm just getting over my antibiotic. The only contraceptive part of this med is it makes me so sick that I can't even imagine having sex!!
