I was prescribed Lupron to stop my periods, which were always painful with heavy bleeding. Since I was in treatment for early stage breast cancer, it was also recommended to control the estrogen, which helped to produce my tumour. I had had two 1-month shots and I am never taking this drug again. I can stand the hot flashes, the exessiuve sleepiness in my case and the feeling of weakness in the muscles. I have only been taking Pristiq for 5 days, I have noticed a change for the better in my overall mood. I love that I have no appetite, as I really need to loose some weight. But the nausea is really bad and I have blurred vision which really bothers me. Also, I feel like I can get to sleep faster than usual, but I wake up early and can't get back to sleep. I am going to give it atleast a couple of weeks and hope that the nausea and blurred vision get better.
