Site reactions were very bad, lumps and bruises that lasted for weeks. I developed Raynaud's syndrome and had white fingers almost daily until I switched to Avonex, no more problems. The flu like symptoms were horrible and the day after I had NO energy so I ended up being sick most of the week.

I was on the study that had Enbrel approved by the FDA. I received great care at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston, MA. I was willing to try anything to improve my desperate health situation. When I joined the study I was basically bedridden. The risk of side effects is well worth the relief from pain and the regained mobility. My doctor told me to take 2 pills a day but he told my daughter-in-law to take 5 a day so i don't know what the deal is with that...

I am very happy with Lamictal as I have been able to come off of another mood stabiliser (which was causing unwanted side effects) .. it is much more effective for my condition ( Bi polar disorder) .. this medication does not affect my libido like other medication either... the only problem is that it is not a government subsidized medication as it is not recognised as a medication needed for bi polar disorder and so is very expensive... I am hoping that this will change and become more affor... View full comment

I was given this prescription by my dentist. I have to take 4 pill prior to going in to have my teeth cleaned or any dental work done because I have a fusion in my back and if I dont take the medicine prior it could cause a severe interaction with my blood and the metal in my back. It makes my stomach hurt when I take it but to me that is better than taking the chance of getting the infection
