the medicine worked well in the beginning for about 8 months, during stressful times, this does not work at all. and now that i have been using for about 1 year.. symptoms... hot flashes, irritability, stress, bloating are worse....

I began with Effexor a few years ago. It worked wonderfully at first, and then I experienced severe side effects. I switched to Cymbalta with great success without the side effects. I am 43 and after 21 years without seeing a physician, my family convinced me to see a doctor after I started suffering from depression. After the exam and bloodwork, my bp was 130\70 and all blood levels were normal. My doctor prescribed Wellbutrin and scheduled a follow up visit in 3 weeks.
