Prep H does its job of reducing the swelling and pain caused by hemorrhoids very well. Two days after application, the product reduces the size of the hemorrhoid considerably and really eases the pain. However, Prep H does not "cure" hemorrhoids, and I believe it should be used only for pain relief.

Leritine is the only drug that relieves my pain. My doctor prescribed this drug for me approximately 15 years ago. I used the drug for approximately 3 weeks, until I no longer needed it. Years later, I requested this drug from my doctor, to relieve severe pain. I was informed that the drug was no longer available. I started out taking Lexapro but the dr. switched me to Celexa because my insurance covered it but didnt cover the lexapro. They told me that it was very similar to lexapro but it made me very sick when I took it and I had no problems with the lexapro. I had to go off of it after a week of taking it because I didnt have any energy to do anything and constantly felt sick. I went back on the lexapro and have been doing great since!
