Zegerid has made my ankles swell. I am guessing it is the extra sodium it contains. It has helped my belching problem, however, it has contributed to a higher blood pressure reading.

I love this drug. I look forward to my infusion every month. First infusion went in unable to walk, in a wheelchair. At infusion 6 walking alright with no aid.

I have diabetes, treated with oral and insulin. Also treated for high trigycerides, high cholesterol, and bp. Carving for sugar has increased, gained 10# and all readings have jumped up remarkably since starting this medication. At first it helped the pain in my hands and generalized/overall aching pain. I have had simular issues. I first started taking chantix Oct 29, 2008. I had terrible abdominal pain and severe nausea. So, I convinced myself to continue taking the drug because I thought nausea and abdominal pain was better than continuing to smoke. Boy was I wrong. I quit smoking on Nov 15, 2008 AND quit taking chantix 3 days later. I knew I had to because chantix was making me very ill.
