I used to take diovan and tenoretic - switched to tenoretic and benicar - I experienced extreme hair loss and gout. plus diovan was expensive. Decided to try benicar but seems worse. Lightheadedness, dry mouth, dry stool, gout. Don't know what else until I get results from my check-up. I just don't feel right. This drug was horrible for me. I have never felt sicker than when I was on it. The withdrawals were worse than opiate withdrawal. I was totally ill for two weeks-I couldn't stand or sit up without throwing up. I had "brain zaps," couldn't eat or sleep.

Losartan was suggested as an alternative so I began that. I was on 50mg 2x daily which seemed to work; that was in 2012. I moved to a new state in 2012 and changed doctors. Lately my BP has been elevated so I increased my dosage to 150mg 2x daily which didn't help much. I visited my Dr and he said Losartan isn't effective a... View full comment

Hi. I read your review of Opana. You were on 60mg of oxycontin, and changed to 5mg of Opana, then had sweating, loss of appetite, no engery, etc. This is NOT because the opana is problematic. It is because your dr. put you on WAY too low of a dose of opana (oxymorphone). Opana is 5 to 7 times stronger than oxycontin mg per mg. That means he should have put you on at least 10mg of opana. The symptoms you described were clearly withdrawl symptoms from switching to much less opiates. Try opana... View full comment
