I had one son already and now I'm working and planning to get married so I don't want another child yet. I take Ortho Tri-Cyclen and it prevents me from getting pregnant and unexpected periods. I recommend it but it does give me mood swings!

Yasmin was an effective birth control method but it does more harm than good. I was nauseous while taking it and had reduced libido although my skin did clear.

This was the last treatment prescribed after calcium blockers swelled my lower extremities and had ghout after my other treatments. . I felt better with bendroflurazide but after gout which I had been prone to (my first attack at 18 after a glass of port!) My GP would not prescribe again for me. But my blood pressure was down to 135 with benfdrofuazide. Which I would prefer to go back to and put up with the severe pain of GOUT!! Sublingual is a terrible idea. It tasted terrible and made my tongue numb. 15 minutes after taking it, I was completely drugged out and had to be taken to bed immediately. Slept 12 hours straight in a deep sleep, but apparently snored loudly and gasped for air all night long. Needless to say that was my first and last experience taking this medication as an alternative to Geodon.
