I had tried everything to quit smoking and this was the only thing that worked! I guarantee that if you give Chantix a shot you will be a non-smoker! I was a 1 1/2 pack a day smoker and I had absolutely no desire to smoke by the end of the week without ANY withdrawal symptoms. It's interesting...It definitely makes me feel MUCH better. I initially caved into "drugs" after dealing with horrible panic attacks for two years. I tried to stay away from reading reviews because I knew I wouldn't take it then. I am into my 5th day with one more tablet to take yet I still have a low grade fever this morning.. Very disappointed but my family doctor said it would take several days. I did see a nurse practitioner at a Kroger "Little Clinic" and she felt I had possible pneumonia. I saw an ENT the next afternoon and they could not hear the crackling in my lung but I had taken the 2 tablets the evening before of the Z-Pak. Fever has continued on this third morning since.
