I love Yaz- since being on Yaz, my overall moods have become more stable, and my appetite has become more regular. However, I still notice a significant change about a week prior to my period. I crave starchy, sugary foods, and I still get extremely tearful and emotional.

I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. this stuff is poison. i'm a 35-year-old who was perfectly healthy aside from smoking until chantix. now i feel like i'm 90 years old with one foot in my death bed. my skin doesn't even feel like my own skin and the fevers and rash just won't stop. sure, it will help you quit smoking, but it will ruin everything else in your life that means anything to you, most importantly your health (isn't that why you wanted to quit smoking to begin with?).

Takes my cold away. I still have some sneezing and coughing, but it takes a lot of my symptoms away. The greatest downfall of the medication is that it taste horrible.

There are so many different kinds of medications out there. You aren't just going to immediately find the right one for you. It's all about trial and error. Trust me, it's an agrivating process and I've wanted to give up many times (I started trying different meds about 7 months ago) I have confedence that I will find one right for me. The more medications fail, the closer I am to finding the one that won't. I'm currently taking citalopram and so far so good :). It's sucks having depression,... View full comment
