Not sure I want to continue this drug due to the bloating and concern about the long-term affects. Was off it for less than a week and the bloating went away--nearly 5 lbs' worth. What replaced it was the worst heartburn I have ever had in my life. Got my refill and now the bloat is back. Heartburn is gone, however.

I can't get off on this medication, can't drink alchohol, and the tiredness from the medication is noticable to everyone. I kind of noticed irregular heart beats on medication, as well a strong decrease in energy, and ability to sleep at night.

I wish this drug was available in the US. It is a very popular drug in the rest of the world. I know it was a taken off the shelves in a few countries for some kidney problems that might have been caused in young children and others by it, so I am sure it will never make it here, but it is an effective pain killer if taken moderately, maybe not every day. The sachets of powder are way more effective for the migraines than the pill form, in fact, the pills don't work, only the powder form do... View full comment

I do have a problem retrieving common words since using Lyrica however, the worse problem in weight gain. I am already well overweight and had lost 27 lbs. with GREAT effort; however I have gained back nearly 15lbs. already without much of an eating change (I don't think). I have notices a stronger appetite and have tried to keep watch but it seems to be gaining anyhow. I am diagnosed with diabetees which I have controlled by diet. I have suffered from depression before when I was in high school, and I was on different anti-depressant. I had side effects and the worst was the insomnia. I like wellbutrin just because it does not have this side effect.
