I have bacteria in my stomach and was prescribed prevpac. I have had just about every imaginable side effect or reaction including constant headache, diarrhea, nausea, awful metallic taste in mouth, small rash that did go away within 2 days, mild itching, yeast infection, muscle cramps and pains, and awful dizziness. I think I'm allergic to codeine. It makes me nauseous. I guess it works for pain, but the side effects outweigh the benefits

When you are in intense pain-as I was you would do anything- If they had said they could cut my arm off I would have said yes please.This drug DID work for me- I was taking 600MG a day!! Didnt realise what a massive dose this was- It was brilliant for pain control but they dont tell you about withdrawral symptoms. I was like a a drug addict going cold turkey - had the runs, shaking hot sweats-but the feeligs of desperation were the worst. I managed to get myself off it after a week. If my dis... I was put on ativan 3 times per day starting in january for panic attacks that I was having. The problem with ativan is that if you are having a panic attack it takes a while for the medicine to kick in and stop it. I also was having some side effects with it such as tremors and nightmares. My doctor switched me to xanax and I liked it a lot better. It stopped my panic attacks within 10 minutes of taking the medicine vs the hour it took to stop them when I was taking the adivan.
