I love this medication. It is one of the only cough medicines that really work for me. It last almost the whole time it is supposed to unlike other cough medicines, because it's thick enough to coat my throat. I also love the orange flavor that it comes in. The grape flavor I don't care for as much.

I wish there was an alternative to this medication that worked as well. The yeast infections are unbearable, and the interaction with birth control (making it uneffective) is annoying.

Since starting Trivora I've become extremely depressed and moody. I've always been a little insecure, but the medicine seems to magnify it exponentially. My mood jumps from one extreme to the next. I sometimes feel like I'm on the verge of total insanity and even have suicidal thoughts at times.

I have been coughing frequently and violently for approximately 10 years now. I used Flovent for several years and it has not stopped my cough at all. IAt my insestence I was recently given samples of Advair 250mcg from my pulmonologist. He did not believe it would stop my coughing. Much to his surprise, my coughing and breathing have greatly improved. However, I developed a skin rash and hives on my face which I know are from the Advair. I took it for my strep throat, and while the pills were so large and difficult to take, within 24 hours i was able to tell that it was working. te down side was that i was supposed to take it for 10 days and all symptoms were one completely within 6 and 7, so i felt like i ws over medicating.
