I have been taking 2 mg xanax for over ten years. I stop taking it every once in a while after reading negative effects . It helps me with my constipation. I do have a hard time when trying to get off of it. I experience nausea, and become quite ill for about 4 days. I do not know if I should stay on it or not . I would like to know if there is any long term effects on being on it for an extended length of time.

I would get off of these drugs and go for acupuncture and herbal treatments. It's not worth the side effects. When I took lisinopril for 3 months, I felt like I had the flu the entire time. My BP was only high at the PCP's office because they always managed to tick me off before I got in to see the Dr, then had to wait an hour or more. My daughter has received the Gardasil shots and on her last shot she became dizzy, started shaking and shaking really bad. I find the lorazepam relaxes me when I feel that life is out of my control and restores my respespective regarding the situatuion that caused me the stress. It helps me sleep when things will not leave my head alone but goes around and around in my head.
