Ventolin is very good as it is always helps improve my breathing. It helps me when I am sick as well as during allergy season. Additionally, it is quite effective to use preemptively before athletic activities. Once you are experiencing shortness of breath, it can take awhile to help you and is therefore better to use before. On the down side, it makes your heart beat fast and makes you hyper active or anxious.

Solodyn has been and still is terrible to me the last two weeks. I only took it 3weeks. I was not taking any other meds. No one could tell me why i was sick. 3 different doctors so many test. fever,chills,sweats,enlarged liver,fatigue, not eating, terrible itchy rashes. Did not think it was the solodyn at first because i believed i would have had a reaction to the first week of taking it. I just found out two days ago that it is the solodyn. Worst drug I've ever been on. Doctor won't change it and I'm always sick as a dog. I wouldn't recommend this drug to my worst enemy. No one should have to feel like this all the time. I'd rather just deal with the diabetes than have to be nauseated all the time.

Takes 2-4 days before noticing effects, not very effective. Produces slight side effect of minor skin rash and dry skin. Switched to more highly effective ointments. Seems have to apply more than prescribed per day (three times per day) in order to be more effective.
