I take Tums for extra calcium, but I recommend not taking them on an empty stomache; typically, if I do, I experience (very minor) stomache pains.

I have developed cystocele (mild) and sometimes notice the ring, but before that never noticed anything. Positive effect on blood pressure which was too high on the pill. I need my computer calendar to inform me when to take it out though, as I do sometimes forget. All the positive effects of birth control- less acne, hair and skin less oily, smaller, predictable periods and light to no cramps. I experienced a change in breast size though, over the pill.

I have been on several antidepressants over the years. My problems started with very severe panic attacks. For this condition, Paxil was amazing. Sometimes when your symptoms are severe, it will take at least 1 month before the medicine will really start working its purpose. Paxil did make me gain weight, but I still feel this is the best drug for me for those symptoms. I know it's been a short time sense I've been taking Yaz. 2 weeks actually, but ever sense day one i've been tired, irratable and having EXTREME headachs. I've been bleeding heavy for 14 days now also the cramping has gotten WAY worse. I was put onto this pill to help with crapming and to make my cycle shorter and lighter, its done the complete opposite. I was put on ativan 3 times per day starting in january for panic attacks that I was having. The problem with ativan is that if you are having a panic attack it takes a while for the medicine to kick in and stop it. I also was having some side effects with it such as tremors and nightmares. My doctor switched me to xanax and I liked it a lot better. It stopped my panic attacks within 10 minutes of taking the medicine vs the hour it took to stop them when I was taking the adivan. For the last four months or so, bloating gas, and cant eliminate it. Resulting in severe abdominal pain. Constipation, urinay problems not as severe. No appetite,. Terrible pain in G.I. regio, nmostly at night about 1 hour after ingestion of P.M. meds. I do not abuse meds.

Plan B is a great emergency contraceptive. It is accessible and relatively effective. However, it is pricey at 50 bucks and caused some hormonal imbalances that affected me emotionally as well as causing irregularity in my menstrual cycle.
