I have taken nuvigil for about a year now. I have not had a problem with hair loss. As for sleeping, I don't normally have a problem. I too am a teacher and have difficulty with my summer's lack of routine. I know the medicine doesn't help as much if I don't take it right away in the morning. Also, I have started using the alarm clock to have a more consistent wake-up time; this seems to help too.

I have suffered from asthma my whole life and depended on inhalers when I had an attack. Sometimes the attacks were so bad I was put in the hospital. Since I started taking accolate I have not had any serious attacks or been hospitalized for asthma. It has worked great for me and I only use an inhaler when needed for minor asthma attacks.

I have suffered from migraine's and daily headaches for the last 30 years and am currently seeing a specialist who has come to the end of their recommendations. Last year I visited the US and whilst out witout my usual headache medication bought the Excedrin Extra Strength Express Gels. I didn't use them until about a month ago when I was having a particularly bad period of headaches and migraines and out of desperation looked in my medicine cupboard for something/anything to ease the pain.... As seasons pass, i've noticed that i've been suffering more and more from sinus headaches and stuffy nose. The other products didn't really work for me. I take Sprays a day and my suffering is done with. Gone are the pressure and pain. I can function again.

Benadryl mildly helped my allergies but it made me very drowsy and out of of it especially the "Benadryl for Severe allergies" that I even fainted while I was at a doctor's appointment. No other medicine has ever made me so drowsy and I had never fainted before in my life. For these reasons I do not think I will take Benadryl again.

Sudafed doesn't work well for poison ivy. It makes me a bit dizzy too.
