Not sure, but I think it causes some paranoia sometimes, though I do not have any visual or auditory hallucinations, and have never been diagnosed with any mental issues. I find as the length of time increases for me being on Vicodin, I find myself sometimes suffering from frequent paranoia, even though I have not increase the dosage my doctor prescribed. This was the worst medicine I ever took. It gave me a terrible skin rash that sent me to the hospital and did nothing for my illness during finals no less!
