Took it for 6 months starting with a high dosage to treat pericarditis. I kept to a strict diet and only gained 5 lbs during the 6 months but the other side effects were awful. Developed severe joint pain from head to toe and had leg and foot cramps. I would wake at night in terrible pain that was awful enough to leave me crying. Lipitor is relatively effective for high cholesterol. It works much better when I watch what I eat.

About an hour or two after using the vaginal applicator I woke up with severe lower abdominal pains (felt like I'd been kicked there). After a long painful time in the bathroom I had a BM, then later,with more cramping, severe diarrhea. I at first thougt it was something I ate, then realized the last time I had those symptoms was the last time I used the cream. I thought then that it was food poisoning. Too much of a coincidence. I'm afraid to use it agan.

I have been having more problems with Armour, and been wanting to try it; because I never felt that great on Synthroid and the generic brand. They removed my thyroid and my ranges our high for me. Since, I have been taking this Armour, I am jumpy, high puslse,very high blood pressure on and off tthrough out the day,palpitations,depressed, tired. Taking Trazodone my son gets up in the morning and is so unbalanced he falls right to the floor or to the side and hits the wall..but not every single day. It's so hard for a mother to see this..and scary. He is also on an celexa and generic xanax.

I have had High Blood Pressure probably most of my life. Followed most BP protocols over time. Nothing seemed to be effective. I now take Cozartan together with Moxotens., No side effects. Bp is improving steadily.
