I like using Midol for menstrual cramps and I've used it for several years. It usually works but it wasn't enough to relieve my cramps the few times that I've had severe pain.

I am not a moody or depressed person, but since taking this specific birth control I have been having the worst mood swings ranging from being being easily irritated to sad/depressed for no known reason. When I first started this pill, I hated it. I was bleeding constantly and I had cramps and headaches. However, after about two months of use, I have short, light periods and little pms related symptoms. I did gain a little weight but i think it is starting to come off (I've been on Femcon for about 5 months now). I have tried other birth control pills before and they were not for me. Betaserson did seem to help control my MS a little. I still had attacks every few months. My most severe attack to date was while taking Beta. I now own a wheelchair because of that attack. Really did not like the side effects and had a constant low grade fever while taking this drug.

the odor is terrible. it smells like a cheap musky cologne. it stays in my clothes and can still be smelled on my skin after i shower. i also feel paranoid about coming in contact with my wife (who is breast feeding) and my 2 small daughters.
