I quit Lipitor almost 3 years ago. I was very close to not being able to work and had already had to give up all social contacts, was afraid to drive anymore and less than a year away from being on disability and not know WHY! Within the first 2 weeks of being on this drug, I sat down to eat lunch one day and when I went to get up, it felt like someone had hit me in both knees at the same time with a sledge hammer. I was having cramps and my doctor recommended Naproxen as a safe and stronger pain relief. It seems to be helping with the pain, although not a full relief from it. I would recommend this for someone who can not handle the harsh side effects of a strong pain pill but needs pain relief stronger than over the counter Tylenol.

I was a baseball pitcher back in high school and a ball got hit back up the middle and off of my face. It broke 3 bones and the pain was undescribable. I could not get surgery done for a week and I was perscribed percocet for the week before and the week after my surgery. Even though it made me tired, it worked tremendously.

I had nausea and vomiting the first 2 months of taking it, but they completely went away after that. Other pills caused bleeding between my periods, but I had no spotting at all with Microgestin.

I just recently started using Claritin for my allergies. I didnt really notice a profound effect on my spring allergies, but I did feel slightly better. Still, i did not feel significantly better after taking the drug.

I have taken Analgin, which is sold in many European countries as a pain killer for, toothache, stomachache, headache stuff like that, to releif some pain. Well, now im developing Hives (urticaria), and while taking steroids to treat the hives, i come across to take Analgin (Metamizole) twice, and my whole face swelled up,and the rash worstened a lot, i am starting to think i have become alergic to Metamizole sodium which is present in the Analgin pill. It works well for me. My only compliant is that it tastes horrible. It's hard to swallow with water. It usually gets stuck to my tongue when I go to swallow.
