Although I had allergic reaction with each infusion, the side effects from the Taxol got better after 7-10 days. I didn't have nausea at all (actually had a very good appetite) except my stomach was queasy for about 7 days after 4th infusion. I had an odd taste in my mouth with excess saliva for a several days after infusions. Very tired but that too improves after 7-10 days. I also developed RA after my Gardasil shots. I was a competitive dance my entire life and was completely healthy. It took a YEAR for doctors to figure out I had RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS..doctors thought my joints were flaring up because I was an athlete. I hear more stories like mine everyday. We need to have more girls make the connection between Gardasil and RA. This is not fair! I am 19 years old and have to give myself a shot weekly so I can walk.

Allegra made my heart race, so I asked my doctor to be switched to something with fewer side effects. I then I took Xyzal for about 7 months, while it did reduce my allergies the side effects were devastating. I gained weight. I was tired all the time. My heart rate went up. My joint's ached. My doctor started checking me for thyroid conditions, I had an EKG that showed nothing. I now suspect it was the Xyzal. This medication changed my life. I almost failed high school. I got my BA-MA-Phd in late 30's on a 10-15 cup of coffee/day habit.
