I have had the Mirena for well over 6 or 7 years (I'm on my second one). During this time, my acne has been difficult to control - especially on my back and chest. love it!!! had problem in the first month with spotting and no problems with the spotting since....if it happens you are suppose to stop your pill for a week and let your period come before starting it back up. if the spotting occurs it is your body getting used to the new hormones and it means that your body WANTS A PERIOD. it should only happen once and if you stop the pill for a week and start it right back up it will be fine!!!!

The first time I took this pill, it did exactly what it was supposed to do- my infection was gone in a matter of days. No stomach pain or indigestion. This time, it's been awful- I spend an entire night throwing up and suffering from diarrhea ... I had taken the pills along with some allergy herbs, had waited till 3hours had passed since dinner, but still woke up at 2 and was up the rest of hte night.
