I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one.... I was on the Nuvaring for 1.5 years with excellent results: confidence in my birth control, no change in appetite, lighter, more comfortable periods. Every time I'm sick I take Mucinex D. It really does take out all of the infection in my chest and throat. It really does bring it all up. It helps you cough and makes you feel better once you stop coughing. I would recommend it for everyone when they have congestion in the chest or throat.
