I was prescribed mesalazine for colitis. Initially my condition improved but could have been improving anyway. Since taking it, I have always been tired and weak. I have some bouts of dizziness and numbness in my hand/finger. I reduce the dosage and improved. When I increased the dosage my condition worsened.

This if one horrid product for about 1/2 the people that use it. I am a senior so when I go shopping I ask heavier or older people if they take it and if there are any side effects. About half say yes or they know someone on it that has problems. My Urine had got very smelly, so bad one had to wash after urinating or the stench came through ones clothing. Not sure, but I think it causes some paranoia sometimes, though I do not have any visual or auditory hallucinations, and have never been diagnosed with any mental issues. I find as the length of time increases for me being on Vicodin, I find myself sometimes suffering from frequent paranoia, even though I have not increase the dosage my doctor prescribed. I have ADD and have been taking Adderall and Adderall XR for over 10 years. I have had weird heart beats and when I work out I sometimes feel like my heart rate is way too high for the level activity that I'm doing. I feel like it's probably not a huge deal if you're planning on taking it temporarily but I do not recommend long term use. It's very effective but the heart risks that come with it are not worth it.
