This medication has been VERY effective in diminishing my stone frequency. I have not been in significant pain since i started the prescription, so I have been very pleased. I have been on it for over a month now, and I am still having the stomach problems that I had in the beginning, but now I notice that I am bruising easily, often, and quite severely. My grandfather has taken Niaspan for a little over 2 years, he started within the last month with more moderate waking up at night a flushing. I went from a healthy weight of 140 (normal for my size) to 180 in less than 2 months. It came from nowhere, no changes in diet were made to have effected the weight gain. I was exercising a couple times a week, I have gained and lost weight throughout my life, but never in a quick amount of time. Dayquil is great but it makes me feel a little air headed. I defeniately felt it when I was driving. It didn't effect my driving but I could still feel a difference.
