Today my doctor told me to stop the Lipitor because my liver is "not happy". Since being on the drug, I have experienced lower cholesterol. BUT I have also had irregular heartbeat, weight gain especially abdominal, blood in my urine that the urologist can find no reason for, swollen hands and fingers, feet feel sore and hot but look normal, rashes on my arms, weakness in knees, and pain in my right side. I am experiencing a severe skin reaction. All of face and upper chest area ( exposed to daylight ) is a very pinky/red . The affected skin area is tingly and feels as though it has been burnt. I have been to my GP who prescribed Hayleve which I took for 3days and the redness subsided . On stopping the 4mg 4x day the condition is recurring.
