I had been having a hard time breathing for a few months and, knowing that I had asthma, I decided to get a refill on my inhaler. I was on the NuvaRing for 4 years and I loved it. Little to no cramps, 2-3 day light periods. Everything was great. Suddenly I started getting yeast infections. The first one was the last week before my period. It went away when I had my period, but came back three days after I put in a new ring. And lasted for 2 weeks. I do have a problem retrieving common words since using Lyrica however, the worse problem in weight gain. I am already well overweight and had lost 27 lbs. with GREAT effort; however I have gained back nearly 15lbs. already without much of an eating change (I don't think). I have notices a stronger appetite and have tried to keep watch but it seems to be gaining anyhow. I am diagnosed with diabetees which I have controlled by diet.
