Maxalt works great if you take it right when you start feeling a migraine coming! It does make me sleepy and have to urinate a lot but I'd rather that then the migraine. However, since I've been put on Topamax, I'm not sure the Maxalt works right anymore. I've only had to take the Maxalt once since my doctor allowed me to have both again, so it may have just been a rogue migraine. Hopefully with the next one it will work.

I think mentally it was discouraging to know that I had to take this because it is a private area. The medicine itself worked but I just never wanted to talk to anyone about it.

I am not sure if the bentyl is causing my hands to swell and my heart rate is higher. I feel better but I don't know if its worth the other pain from my hands.

I had to take Hydrocodone when I got into a car wreck and an airbag damaged my right eye. When I was taking them, I had a hard time remembering what was going on. They also made me extremely drowsy a lot of the time. My dosage was somewhat high however.

Shortly after starting a short course of this medication I starting having irregular (skipped) heartbeats upon light exertion. It took me two weeks to put two and two together and I have now stopped the medication. I have had irregular heartbeats in the past but they had not bothered me for several years. Also, I have experienced difficulty sleeping including trouble getting to sleep and/or mid night wakefulness. Recently I have experienced diarrhea. This drug does not seem to be worth us... I've been taking Reclipsen for about 3 months now and it's been alright. Slight mood swings, little bit of nausea in the mornings, and some pretty gnarly headaches but thats it. No weight gain. No acne. No spotting. No cramping. I'm starting on the brand name version (Desogen) this month because planned parenthood didn't have any Reclipsen left, and I'm hoping that things will stay the same. I know technically they are the same pill but I've always been skeptical of the things that pharmaceu... View full comment
