Your situation appears similar to mine. I had been taking Avapro (AKA Irbesartan) 150mg 2x daily which was doing the job. Then my drug insurer refused to cover it. Losartan was suggested as an alternative so I began that. I was on 50mg 2x daily which seemed to work; that was in 2012. I moved to a new state in 2012 and changed doctors. Cymbalta has altered my WHOLE life. I feel like I am in CYMBALTA PRISION with no way out. I had been on Cymbalta for almost 4 weeks and I am OFF Cymblta for 4 HELLISH weeks tomorrow (9/16/08) . This drug had got to be watched. I took this drug for nerve pain and ended up LODSING MY JOB

It was a great drug in the beginning, but later the side effects are very severe would not recommend. I had shortness of breath and chest pains, and I would work out everyday. I stopped the pills and after a week of not taking them I felt a lot better.
