Vicodin was used after my wisdom teeth were removed and it relieved virtually all pain I felt and I was left with just a little sensitivity in my jaw. The only problem I had with Vicodin was that it occasionally made one pupil dialate and the other one would remain normal size.

I use Aleve occasionally for general aches and pains. It is effective as a muscle relaxer, especially after running and excercising. I have never had a side effect from using Aleve.

This is a horrible drug that caused all kinds of side effects and made me miserable for the last 2 years. Started taking it due to gastritis from NSAIDS. Tried Pepcid first but got acid breakthrough after 1 month. Tried 10 mg capsules of Omeprazole, but they had a nasty aftertaste. Bumped up to 20 mg, then 40 mg. Constant bloating and abdominal pains. Benadryl is a very fast-acting medication and is 100% effective in my case. However, within a half an hour, I am knocked out as a result of the drowsiness effect. I usually sleep for long hours after taking the medication and feel groggy and lazy once waking up. Although my allergies are cleared up, I don't like sleeping the rest of the day or the feeling I get after waking up.
