I find that it soothes the pain but leaves you in an uncomfortable state at the same time. I have found suppositories to be much more efficient.

Phenergan with codeine was prescribed to me when I had an upper respiratory infection (a cold). I had a very bad cough and bad congestion. I only took it at night because it had a significant drowsiness effect on me. I had to take more than the recommended amount to notice an effect on my cough- and I didn't feel like it was much more effective than over the counter products- except for putting me to sleep. I honestly feel that this med is for someone who has a chemical imbalance , but if mis diognosed you can be in serious problems I usto take it just because my dr said here try this sample ones and i did and it drove me even more crazy with suicidal thoughts now i have a foggy ming and short term memmory problem where i usto be able to suck everything in and I clearly remember that one day taking cymbalta like if someone has turned off a switch in my brain im 33 and cant remember what i ate ye... So far, it seems to have helped lower my choesterol, and I haven't noticed any side effects. I was taking 10mg daily, but I was concerned about possible liver damage and requested my doctor lower the prescription to 5mg.
