Changing to this synthetic analogue, described to me as "the greatest thing for Type 1 diabetics" by my diabetic team was a decision I now deeply regret. I am a Dane, 31 years old, female, and been taking Keppra for about 3 months. It is the only antiepileptic drug I have been taking, and I have not been taking it with other kinds of medication.
