I have been on cymbolta for years. I am tired of gaining weight and not being able to get rid of it. (no matter what I do) my friend told me her meds. made her metabolism slow down Cymbalta doesn't have a side effect of weight gain but I wondered since i have been on C for so long maybe it is effecting me. I read multiple reviews on multiple websites about this pill when I was two weeks into my first pack. This pill was in fact the worst one I have tried as far as making you get sick. I had to take a prescription medication just to get rid of the nausea for about three days...BUT I stuck it out, and I am happy to say that after the first pack, it gets much much easier to digest. Paxil did nothing but make my life worse. I even got divorced from a 45 year old relationship. It took me a painful 6 months to finaly break free of the withdrawl simptoms on the 3rd attempt.

I am using it for almost 2 months - 250 mg twice daily. It definitely have some effect both on libido enhancing and erectile dis-function. But I am not sure whether it has any adverse effect on prostate with long term effect.
