It's true that the taste is awful, and the bit of numbing is weird! But I have never slept better, and I wake up without any drug effects. I fall asleep about 20 minutes after I take it, so I plan accordingly. I find that it's less "yucky" if I place it under my tongue in such a way that I can make a tight "seal" over it with the rest of my tongue. I recieved a cortiosone injection in my shoulder yesterday and almost 5 minutes after having it done I had nausea and the worst headache I have ever had. I also was very weak. I tried to work but had to come home and once I did a slept from 2pm - 8pm when I woke up with a 102.1 fever. I took 1000 mg of tylenol and it still didnt break my fever. Have been on Pristiq for 5 days. My doctor prescribed it for my anxiety and panic attacks. Side effects are horrible; nausea, fatigue, sweating, cold chills, blurred vision, no apetite, shaky etc. Still waiting for these to subside as I haven't been able to work or really leave my house as I dont want to have a car accident and my anxiety has gotten worse! Will wait it out for another week or so and see what happens.
