I have been using Flomax for two years. At first took every day. After the first couple of days, I noticed I was better able to empty my bladder, allowing for fewer trips to the toilet. Also, in the first two days, I experienced the side effect of very strong erections, both when waking up and with normal sexual stimulation. Felt like I'd taken Viagra. I am on 0.25 Xanax twice a day along with Ativan 0.5mg -2 tabs before bedtime. My Dr. wanted me to try Xanax and see what worked the best for me. I had been on Ativan 0.5 mg 3 or 4 times day and it seemed to have quit working for me. Now, I can't really tell any difference between Ativan and Xanax. I really think i like Ativan the best. So frustated with meds. I am also on Lexapro- 20 mg. Any suggestions for me?

This medication makes me sleepy, for which I take Provigil. I have gained weight that I can't lose. But I have not had an OCD episode in 10 years, so the side effects are all worth it.
