My four-day experience with Pristiq was simply not worth hanging on for better effects down the road. I experienced extreme nausea and headaches. For this reason along with the fact that my insurance company would pick up only $11.00 of the $125 per month cost, I stopped cold turkey. I like the fact the my migraines are under better control while using topamax, but, I know that my concentration is not as it used to be and the numbness and tingling can be bothersome. I noticed the deep joint pain in my hips started after my dose increased to 250mg. My neurologist wanted me to go up to 300mg but I just couldn't tolerated the pain in my hips

It worked for my cough pain. It just made me severely sleepy so I could only take 1 dose a day to function. And it also made me have some realistic nightmares which may show I'm sensitive to the drug.

Tylenol works fine for my pain relief, but it seems to take longer to feel the relief than Advil. I prefer aspirin for pain relief from headaches because it works quicker.

Prior to using Candex, I had already been on a cleansing, higher protein diet with little if any dairy, grains or (and especially) limited or no simple sugars. If I reintroduce these foods while using Candex, I obviously find myself feeling more exhausted and achy all over due to providing a feeding frenzy to the fungus. My recommendation, keep your diet at a cleansing level in order to assist the process.

Not sure I want to continue this drug due to the bloating and concern about the long-term affects. Was off it for less than a week and the bloating went away--nearly 5 lbs' worth. What replaced it was the worst heartburn I have ever had in my life. Got my refill and now the bloat is back. Heartburn is gone, however.
