Accutane is a great drug to control acne. My acne has almost cleared up completely from using the drug. My side-effects are dry, itchy skin and dry eyes. I believe the positives outweigh the negatives in my case.

I went to the doctor tor congestion and he gave me this steroid for the first time. I took the first 6-4mg of a 6 day plan and stopped after the first dose because at first I was wired so high, I couldn't sleep or stop talking! The next day my heart was racing and I started to hear music and talking that was not there. Then later that night I started seeing things that were not there! Horrible and very scarey. Since I have started on Lisinopril-HCTZ 20/12.5MG I have been gaining weight. I used to be 130 and I was 175 lbs a couple of months ago. Its like being on a roller coaster with my weight since I have started on this medication. I am now 155lbs and cant seem to get anylower than that. I even went to a nutrinist ofr 3 months and a strict exercise program and nothing has helped. I never had this problem with my weight.
