i take it 2 twice in day one in the morning & 1 at evening. It is effective sometimes not all the time. It also removes my headache sometimes. Also use paracetemol aswell to help with the pain.

Phenergan with codeine was prescribed to me when I had an upper respiratory infection (a cold). I had a very bad cough and bad congestion. I only took it at night because it had a significant drowsiness effect on me. I had to take more than the recommended amount to notice an effect on my cough- and I didn't feel like it was much more effective than over the counter products- except for putting me to sleep. I have used Lymecycline for several months and whilst I have not noticed any serios side effects, it does not help my chronic dry eye condition. It appeared to help when I first began using it but soon became less effective. I was not happy about doubling up on the dosage as was recommended as the probable side effects were worrying.
