I have taken Analgin, which is sold in many European countries as a pain killer for, toothache, stomachache, headache stuff like that, to releif some pain. Well, now im developing Hives (urticaria), and while taking steroids to treat the hives, i come across to take Analgin (Metamizole) twice, and my whole face swelled up,and the rash worstened a lot, i am starting to think i have become alergic to Metamizole sodium which is present in the Analgin pill. I was prescriped Niaspan, but since I do not have drug insurance, the cost was prohibitive. I searched the web for a lower cost niacin and decided to try the Endur-acin because it was also extended release, came in 500mg doses, the cost for 500 tablets was $42.00, and other user comments made me feel it would be just as good. I have taken 2 500mg tablets per day along with pravastatin 40mg for the past 3 months. It lowered total from 200 to 168, triglycerides from 95 to 82, & LDL from... View full comment

When I have a cold, I take Tylenol. I recommend this because when it does work, it helps very much. However, sometimes it does not work.

I take Ibuprofen OTC for headaches, body aches, cold/flu, joint pain, etc. I usually take 400-600 mg and it is wonderful because it helps with pain and inflammation with NO side effects. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out I preferred taking 800 mg ibuprofen over tylenol, darvocet, hydrocodone, and percocet. Also, when I broke my foot and had tendonitis I was given prescription 800mg ibuprofen and it was the best thing for the pain and inflammation. I would rather take Ibuprofen then any o... Claritin RediTabs are my preferred allergy medicine choice, especially during spring when everything's in bloom. It worked very quickly and I didn't need water to take them because they are dissolvable tablets. It was extremely effective. My severely runny nose went away, I stopped sneezing, and my watery eyes cleared up. I had a little bit of a dry nose, but I think that was mostly from using too many tissues.

I started seasonique because of hormonal migraines. I dislike taking hormones, but so far it has been the only thing that has consistently kept me from having migraines once a month. I now only get them 1-2 times a year in relation to hormones. I would like to try some more natural alternatives, but this is what works for me right now. I also really enjoy only having my period 4 times a year- especially with the job I have!
