Overall this drug was great. Even though I gave great skin now, my skin did improve. I thought my skin was really good to begin with but this just took things up to another level. I experienced a 12 pound weight loss and I was eating more then previous. I did have an increase in appetite but it didn't bother me because I was loosing so much weight. Has anyone lost their taste due to thyroid medication cause i have and it's the most awful thing and the doc's don't no what to do about it. it's been like this now for 6 months. can anyone help please. was on carbimazole to start with but changed to PTU to see if it made a difference but unfortunately not.

I took this as prescibed for what i know now know to have been pneumonia. the discouraging part of this medication is that it is known to only work if taken within 2 days of a VIRAL infection. it is virtually useless otherwise...

it was recomended I take this to help strengthen my bones since osteoporosis runs in my family. I did take it for some time but just having to take one a day was hard because I became forgetful.

Hand tremor is the most obnoxious side effect of this for me. I take less of the med because of it, which means it doesn't work quite as well. Wellbutrin XL doesn't cause the hand tremors so I can take enough to be fully effective, but I can't afford it.

i had a terrible ache in my gums and paracetomol did not work for this pain. initially it did sort of work then afterwards the pain continued.
